When we tell people we have bought a property in Turkey, they say, “What on earth made you buy something there”? Well, we had never considered buying a property abroad before, however having visited Kalkan several times over the last few years we just fell in love with it. It’s not just a holiday home to us, it’s our second home. We are in the travel industry and have sent many clients there since, and guarantee that everyone has returned at least once, some two and three times, and even some have moved out there to live!

The people are like nobody I’ve ever met before. They cannot do enough to help you, and they are genuine! However much I say in in these words here, you cannot imagine how friendly they are - you will still be surprised when you first experience the magic!

Ever since I first travelled to Kalkan, when I first saw that sight it took my breath away. And every time since, the emotions wash over me and I think ‘ah, I’m home again’.
